Sun Ra (Herman Sonny Blount 1914-1994) was an experimental jazz musician who is remembered for his philosophy cosmo-afro-futurist and say it came from the planet Saturn with a mission to save humanity through music. In
Space is the Place (1972) Sun Ra and his band The Arkestra "travel into space a craft driven by music, so they find a new planet where he decides to establish that blacks are discriminated against and treated as trash on your planet
